WHO WE ARE
East Atlanta Community Association (EACA) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization founded in 1980 to improve the quality of life for the residents of East Atlanta.
OUR MISSION
The East Atlanta Community Association’s (EACA) purpose is to promote a high quality of life for all residents regardless of race, age, sex, or economic status and:
Help create a community based on a sense of trust, belonging, safety, and caring for each other
Encourage well planned residential and business development, and the renovation of existing homes and businesses
Insist on a safe community where residents do not fear crime or intimidation
Require that the Atlanta Public School System meets the varied educational needs of the community
Seek to enhance resident access and enjoyment of city services
Above all, EACA works TO BUILD AN INCLUSIVE, THRIVING COMMUNITY IN EAST ATLANTA.
WHO CAN BE A MEMBER?
Anyone who is a business owner, property owner, or renter within the geographic boundaries of East Atlanta, defined by:
A western border of Moreland Ave between I-20 to the north and Eastland Rd to the south.
A northern border of I-20 between Moreland Ave to the west and Fayetteville Rd to the east, including the area east of I-20 where Flat Shoals Ave meets Fayetteville Rd.
An eastern border of Fayetteville Rd between Flat Shoals Ave to the north and Eastland Rd to the south.
A southern border of Eastland Rd between Moreland Ave to the west and Fayetteville Rd to the east
EACA Membership costs $20 per calendar year per household or per business.
