current projects and open positions
We’ve had some big wins in 2024 and key opportunities that have come our way. We need members of the community to help us see these projects to completion. Please take a look and let us know if you’re willing to help.
ormewood forest
After years of advocacy, we helped secure the purchase by the City of three acres of wooded greenspace south of Ormewood Avenue. We are now recruiting neighbors and community members to help shape the space by bringing design ideas, conducting workdays, and working with the City to shape it.
bIKE & wALKING TRAILS
We have a unique opportunity to work with PATH Foundation and the City to advocate for walking and cycling trails in East Atlanta. We need help bringing details to these ideas. Skillsets we could use include knowledge of transportation, urban planning, or anyone willing to learn!
NEIGHBOR IN NEED
Our Neighbor In Need program helps lower-income seniors in East Atlanta make fixes to their homes to keep them safe and comfortable. We’re looking to increase the number of people we serve. We’re searching for a co-lead to help us lead these efforts and for Project Managers. Basic knowledge of house projects is helpful.
