Mary Yetter – President
A native of Lincoln, NE, Mary moved to Atlanta in 2005. Mary currently works for CARE International as a Senior Technical Advisor for the Sexual Reproductive Health team. She spends her free time gardening, raising chickens and cooking. Mary manages the Brownwood Park Community Garden and raises awareness for Brownwood Park.
Lewis Cartee – Vice President
A 1992 graduate of The University of Georgia, Lewis moved to East Atlanta in the Spring of 2006 with his wife Debbie where the two of them raise their daughter. Lewis’ past roles with EACA included chairing the Communication Committee while serving as vice president in 2010 and 2011 followed by steering the Association as president in 2012. Following his term as president, he continued in the organization as chair for the Parents Network in 2013, as well as the Education Committee chair from 2013 to present. In addition, Lewis serves as the Local School Council Chair at Burgess-Peterson Academy, is on the board for the Southeast Atlanta Communities for Schools (SEACS) and represents the community on NPU-W.
Carol Seeger – Secretary
Ralph Green – Treasurer
Ralph first moved to East Atlanta on Clifton Street in 1970, having arrived from New York City with no idea as to how long he’d stay. Since then, he has raised a family of four girls and from 1980 forward has lived in a home near the Village. Ralph served as EACA’s treasurer in the 1980s, and he’s poised for a comeback.
