The first meeting of the East Atlanta Gardens Association (now known as the East Atlanta Triangle Supporters) was held on February 12, 2004 at 10:00 am at the First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. This group is actually a revitalization and expansion of the East Atlanta Gardens Business Association that last met in 2002. This group is focused on clean up and revitalization of the area surrounding the Flat Shoals/Bouldercrest triangle, and its open membership will consist of a mix of business owners and residents of the area. The group’s suggested geographical boundaries are Flat Shoals @ Pasley to the north, Bouldercrest @ Piper Circle to the South, and Flat Shoals Road @ Stallings to the east.
Flat Shoals Avenue/Bouldercrest Drive serves as the natural boundary to the west as property west of that lies in unincorporated Dekalb County.
Check the EACA Calendar for the next meeting. Meetings will be held 6:30 pm at First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 816 Maynard Terrace, SE. If you are a resident or business owner in this area, your attendance is crucial. Please be in touch with Carolyn West at figweaol.com.
