-  Nominating Committee presents:
o  Treasurer: Loyal Berger
o  Secretary: Lea Johnston
o  Vice-President: Austin Dickson
o  President: Jelena Crawford

•  Loyal – has been a community member for the last 3-4 years – being the treasurer has allowed me to become closer to the community (Henry’s note – has kept the books in good order and has delivered financial results on a regular basis)
•  Lea – Lives in the Bouldercrest Triangle area – has been involved in EACA for a number of years and owns a local real estate brokerage. Unable to be present tonight due to being a guest soloist in the Opera for the Gwinnett Symphony
•  Austin Dickson – teaches philosophy at Clayton State, getting Ph.D. at Georgia Tech, working in Reynoldstown on community organizing for the Reynoldstown Revitalization Corporation on public safety programs
•  Jelena Crawford – has lived in East Atlanta for 3 ½ years, works in management consulting, and has been an active volunteer – current EACA secretary, working in dog rescue, on the East Atlanta Beer Festival board, etc.

Public Safety – Major Propes
-  Will not have more footbeats due to the hiring freeze
-  Sharlotte Jackson – community prosecuter out of Zone 5, Warren Jackson community prosecutor out of Zone 6
-  In EAV, burglaries and larceny-auto are still primary concerns – on Stovall on 11/15 – barely before she could report it, Zone 4 found all her property when serving a search warrant. Then on 11/16, another burglary occurred on Hemlock Circle which was captured on video (one of perps was identified and is 14)
-  2 perps were captured on McWilliams – neighbors were watching out and saw burglary occurring, importance of neighbor awareness
-  4 cars broken in to on Brownwood last week
-  Finding that laptops/TVs are being moved out of the area for selling (i.e. busted a place with many laptops and none were from GA – all from SC)

Meeting Adjourned to potluck 7:45 p.m.
